Dense loops of a Merino wool/Acrylic yarn mix provide soft padding in key strike zones at the heel and ball of your foot, and are extended across the toes, ankle and the Achilles for added cushioning and protection. The mid-foot area has a thinner ventilation zone that allows your foot to breathe and not get uncomfortably hot, and to stop the sock slipping they have incorporated an arch brace for additional support and a custom fit.
