Crossfire LT 2500 Fishing Reel

One of the first noticeable adaptations to the Crossfire on the Daiwa 20 Crossfire reel is its lightness.

ATD or Automatic Tournament Drag is the newest introduction into DAIWA spinning reels. ATD implements structural changes to the spool metal of the reel, providing greater support of the spool across the entire length of the main shaft to avoid it becoming tangled.

The extra weight of the spool metal construction aims to prevent spool twist under load, promote more even pressure on the drag washers and ultimately reduce "pulsing" of the drag when fighting the fish.

The reel also sports the Twistbuster 2 and infinite Anti-Reverse, which prevents the reel from turning backwards and engages the drag.

Cross wrap technology cross wraps the line around the spool for optimised offloading on the cast, which is key to preventing tangles and linespin.
